Are we individuals dependent on other individuals?
Long time ago, when we lived in tribal societies, we could have been independent. Now, we are all living in a society, which makes us depend on each other and brings us together making us stronger.
Can animals be like us? – Maybe they would become more independent in the future, when de-extinction becomes reality. And maybe they would not depend on some people trying to protect them, saying they are “endangered”.
In the 21st century almost everything is related to politics and people do not have those authorities to protect themselves the way they could before or at least now there are much more consequences. It is the same for animals, because times have changed. So do you think animals would never die out if we can always bring them back?
If extinct species could be brought back to life, then people would stop funding the protection of endangered species. There will be no need to take care of endangered animals or plants, which will affect people too. Because if there is no need to think about saving species, there will be no difference between saving or killing living animals. And if animals can be brought back any time, can this benefit us or harm us?
